Congratulations to my students for placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the Junior division at the Idaho Open Contest. Way to Go Laura, Shelby, Tabi, Kai and Lindsey! Also congratulations to Laurana and Grace for placing in the top 5 in the Junior Juniors. Quite a few of my students also won and placed in the top five in the novice divisions on friday. We were sad to miss the contest this year after judging last year in beautiful Red Lodge, Montana.

Joe here! This time of year you really need to hydrate your violin. Here is an easy way to do that.Take a sandwich bag and put a moist sponge in it, leave the bag partially unzipped  and leave it in your case with your violin, wah who! done deal!
